Hey everyone! I so I started my new job last night, Valentine's day, at RBG (Roma Bar and Grill). It was nerve wrecking for the first hour, but then it got a lot better. I am the new hostess there, which I am so excited for, I have never been a host before so I think it will be a fun experience to work in a restaurant. Plus it will be great experience to take back to Washington with me.

Roma is the type of bar that they have in their downstairs section, it was brought into Telluride in the 1880's and is still there and in use, which is so cool. It's a gorgeous bar too, so if you're in town and you haven't seen it you should definitely go grab a drink down there.

Honestly, I have never eaten there, and I feel so ashamed to say that, especially since I am working there now. But, I cannot wait to try some of the things on the menu. I already noticed they have buttermilk fried oysters, which I have been craving fried oysters lately. I was going to wait to try and make some till I got back to Washington for fresh ones, but I decided that those are going to be the first thing I try there, along with truffle fries (obviously, they're amazing everywhere). RBG, also has jalapeno infused tequila, which they use to make spicy margaritas! So stoked to try that too because spicy margs are amazing, and my favorite as well. So many exciting new things to try.

If you're in town, come see me at RBG, I'll be happy to seat you!
